Our Sisters and Brothers crew at Kurunjang showed tremendous enthusiasm on refining their choreography, raps and revising their knowledge on racial discrimination and what they can do to reduce it.
The artistic team are really noticing that many of the students are feeling confident to talk about issues relating to race and racial discrimination. One of the project aims is to promote conversations around diversity, race-based discrimination and its harms and we feel that we are seeing the students take this on in a way that places human rights at the core of building a better place where everyone feels welcome.
The crew is feeling a buzz that all of what we have been learning, sharing and creating together is going towards making a super fun performance on June 26th for friends and family at school. Sisters and Brothers keep ya L.I.D.S open!
