Talking common ground and difference at Diggers Rest Primary

Jack live and direct from Diggers Rest Primary

After a short break with the Grade 5 and 6 students at Diggers Rest, today we were back at it to discuss commonality and diversity.

The students and team learned a lot about each other and the great range of cultural diversity in the room!

Countries of origin included Thailand, German, Spanish, Scottish,  Italian, Syrian and Australian to name but a few.

The children were able to identify a common humanity amongst all peoples and appreciate difference in race, culture and religion.

We shared a song “We’ll all the same'” by Andrea and Valanga Khoza and rewrote some of the lyrics to be inclusive of the commonality and diversity represented by the Diggers Crew. See you in two weeks Diggers!

Big Ups Jack for the photo.
